Ms. Dhwani Sunku is a highly motivated professional, passionate about renewable energy systems and operations. She has extensive experience in the implementation and upkeep of solar power projects of different sizes, ranging from rooftop, ground-mounted, and BIPV installations to offsite operations. She has been in the clean energy industry for over four years. Dhwani spearheads the business development team at U-Solar, ensuring that partners and client relations remain at a satisfactory level throughout the life-cycle of the experience.

Mr. Ajay Balachandran is a Regional Manager, Energy Efficiency at Promethean Energy. He is responsible for helping industries meet their sustainability goals by helping them lower their heating costs and carbon footprints. He has been with Promethean Energy for the last 6 years and has helped dozens of factories in lowering their heating costs and carbon emissions. He is passionate about sustainability and believes that energy efficiency is one of the most important things we can do to protect our planet.

Mr. Anjani Prasad is a seasoned textiles expert with an experience of over 38 years of working in the Textile and Chemicals Industry. He began his career at Century Mills and then BTRA with an audit exposure of cost and process optimization & controls, before joining Sandoz in 1991. He rapidly rose from Product manager to Business head to the Head of Country for Textile, Leather, Emulsion, and Paper Division, overseeing over 400 employees at Clariant. From 2010 he managed various Global portfolios in Clariant and after its spinoff at Archroma such Supply Chain, New Business Development etc. till 2015 when he relocated to India as Managing Director for Archroma India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. After Archroma’s merger with Huntsman Textile Effects in March 2023, he was appointed as the Vice President, Textile effects for the South Asia region spanning India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Thailand, and Australia. Mr Prasad has a B.Sc (Tech) and M.Sc (Tech) in Textile Chemistry from the Institute of Chemical Technology in Mumbai, and is a Chartered Colorist.

Ganesh is a serial entrepreneur in Sustainability/ ClimateTech space with a career vision towards making Sustainability the default choice for all. He is currently the Founder and CEO of FluxGen Technologies, with a goal of De-Risking Industries from Water Crisis. He has also co-founded "The Sustainability Mafia" (SusMafia.org) a section 8, for-impact organization, with a mission to multiply the impact of sustainability leaders through goal-oriented collaboration . Previously he Founded a ClimateTech startup called Airprobe.Tech - Drone analytics for solar farm fault inspection, which was acquired by DroneBase, a US based ClimateTech company. He has been with GE Digital Energy, Selco Solar and NextFirst Technologies before embarking on an entrepreneurial journey. He is an alumnus of the Indian Institute of Science and has done executive education in entrepreneurship at Haas School of Business at the University of California at Berkeley.

On a personal side, he tries to live a low carbon footprint life. He enjoys long-distance cycling tours – he regularly does national holiday cycle rides, which include Bangalore to Goa, Bangalore to Mangalore, Calicut to Kanyakumari, Mangalore to Goa, Goa to Mumbai etc.

Dr. Binay Kumar Choudhury has completed his Ph.D. in Soil Science & Agricultural Chemistry with specialization in Pesticide Residues from University of Agricultural Science, Bangalore and Started his career as Technical Manager & Head for Regional Centre Food Research and Analytical Centre, Bangalore and then shifted his focus towards research in feed additives by joining with a US based multinational organization as Senior research fellow. Dr Choudhury Joined Control Union in the year March 2005 and currently is working as Chairman for Control Union India . Dr Choudhury has extensive knowledge on organic food and fibers and organic textile certification in various countries, while delivering many more standards on sustainable textile and farming standards for control union. He has been awarded several national and international awards, fellowship for research and is involved as advisor for various forum. As a certification expert, he has audited more than 500 farms and 1000 textile projects related to organic in various countries.

Abhishek has over 20 years of experience working with start-ups, social enterprises and multinationals in India and international markets. As the CEO of the Fairtrade India Project, Abhishek leads a team responsible for building a sustainable and ethical platform for consumers, institutions, businesses and farmer organizations in India across food and fashion industry. Associated with the Fairtrade International network, Fairtrade India is working across the textiles value chain to promote the adoption of sustainability practices and the sourcing of sustainable Fairtrade Certified raw material. Abhishek began his career as a business advisory consultant with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and subsequently has held leadership and advisory positions in marketing, food & beverage, agri-commodities and technology ventures across the development and commercial sectors.

Ms. Roop Rashi Mahapatra, Textile Commissioner, is a member of the 1994 Batch of IA&AS. Before joining the Ministry of Textiles, she served as the Director General (Audit) at the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India. Her diverse experience includes being the Secretary (Finance - Fiscal Reforms) for the Government of Karnataka, Bengaluru, where she facilitated Externally Aided Projects of the World Bank and Asian Development Bank. She also worked on Financial Inclusion and established the Integrated Financial Management System (Khajanell). Additionally, she oversaw the activities of the Fiscal Policy Institute in Bangalore. As a Board Director with the Coffee Board of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Ms. RoopRashi led initiatives to strengthen the coffee commodity across the value chain for both domestic and export markets. She collaborated closely with various international coffee associations to promote Indian coffees worldwide and developed branding strategies for distinctive Indian coffees. She also played a pivotal role as the Nodal Officer for India at the International Coffee Organisation (ICO) and organized several International Coffee Festivals & Conferences in India. With a wealth of experience in policy execution and program implementation, both in state administration and the commerce sector, she has been instrumental in strengthening the Textile Value Chain as the Textile Commissioner. Her focus has been on bridging gaps, ensuring sufficient credit flow to enhance technological capacities in the MSME-driven textile sector, and fostering collaboration among stakeholders from various segments of the value chain. Emphasizing sustainability and circularity, she has worked towards integrating research outputs from leading institutions in textiles and allied areas to support the Prime Minister's vision of Five F's - while also promoting livelihoods. The approach is centered around vibrant and sustainable textiles with a focus on rejuvenation, automation, and vivid initiatives to bolster the apparel sector (Vastra Vikas).

Dr. Vanita Prasad is an Environmental Biotechnologist with more than 28 yrs. of experience in related field. Having graduated in Science from University of Delhi, she completed her Master’s and Ph.D. in Biotechnology under Department of Biotechnology and Central Scientific Industrial Research, Govt. of India fellowships. Dr. Prasad has a long association with the industry as Consultant Scientist while heading R&D functions of various waste management companies. She hold patents for innovations in the field of Waste management and Renewable energy. Under her entrepreneurial journey, She has floated her own company - REVY Environmental Solution Pvt. Ltd in 2017 focusing on improvisation of Conventional Biomethanantion process and has been recipient of BIRAC BIG and SPARSH grants to realize her dream endeavor. During her entrepreneurial journey she and her startup has received many awards and accolades from Government of India as well various partners of startup ecosystem at national and international level. REVY is also winner of National Startup Awards 2021 under Environment Sector sub category Industrial Biotechnology.

Dr. Swapneshu Baser, is a Chemical Engineer with M.Tech. in ‘Polymer Science & Engineering’ from IIT-Delhi (1988) and Ph.D. in ‘Chemical Engineering’ from IIT-Bombay (1993). Dr. Swapneshu Baser is Founder and Managing Director of ‘Deven Supercriticals Pvt. Ltd.’ (DSPL) and has played a major role in the design, development and implementation of ‘Supercritical Fluid Processing technology’ through his association with IIT- Bombay and subsequently with Deven Supercriticals. ‘Twenty six’ numbers of Supercritical Fluid (SCF) processing plants have been manufactured & supplied by DSPL in India and abroad. Dr. Baser also served as an ‘Adjunct Associate Professor’ at the Department of Chemical Engineering, IIT-Bombay till 2006.

Dr. Swapneshu Baser has been granted three international patents (In USA, Europe and India) related to various aspects of SCF technology. Dr. Swapneshu Baser is also recipient of many awards / recognitions for his contribution in SCFE technology development, Innovations & successful commercialization, which include: “Excellence in Entrepreneurship in Research and Innovation” in 2021, “Most Innovative MSME” of the Year 2020, “Technology Developer Award” at Industrial Green Chemistry World (IGCW) 2019, “Dr. P.K. Patwardhan Award for Technology Development &Transfer” for 2001, “Young Engineer Award” from INAE in 2000, “NOCIL Award” from IIChE in 1997. He was invited to display his SCF Technology at “Made in India” shows in Telavi, Israel; Jakarta, Indonesia; Beijing, China. He is part of the “Innovation Programme” by ‘Fashion for Good’: a global platform based in Amsterdam.
